Saiku 4 Released!

Finally after many months of work and a full system redesign, Meteorite.bi is proud to announce Saiku 4 is ready for testing.

We will be working hard over the next few weeks to add a few missing features, release more installation platforms and fix bugs that are brought to our awareness by users who test the platform and let us know!

Saiku 4 now has a pluggable, flexible backend infrastructure that utilises the power and scalability of RabbitMQ to provide a message based backend that can scale out horizonatally and easily accept different services as support for different data sources with Mondrian 4, Mondrian 3, Pentaho Reporting and SQL all planned in the coming months.

This week we have released Saiku 4 CE Beta 1, this will followed by Saiku 4 EE docker images next week. Saiku 4 is a unified platform, as such to upgrade the platform, docker pull is all that is required if you’re testing the docker image.

As the platform is in rapid development we don’t yet have an installer packaged but this will of course be coming soon.

We have updated our documentation site and so the Saiku 4 documentation now lives at http://docs.meteorite.bi

If you’re interested in finding out more, be sure to checkout our Getting Started webinar at 1pm GMT November 4th!

We are very excited to get Saiku 4 out to users and as such there will be loads of new information, training materials and support services coming out over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
